Bio Alliances Emergency Profile SMS Consent
Public consent journey for emergency-contact profile-view text alerts.
When SMS alerts are sent
Bio Alliances sends an SMS alert to an emergency contact only when a confirmed healthcare provider opens a patient emergency health profile. The alert may include the profile holder name, the time of access, and available location details for the profile view.
How consent is collected
A profile holder adds an emergency contact in the Bio Alliances app and sends that contact a verification email. The emergency contact opens this consent page from the email, reviews the disclosures, and must actively choose whether to receive SMS alerts.

Alerts are sent when confirmed healthcare personnel open the emergency health profile. Message frequency varies based on emergency profile access events. Message and data rates may apply.
